
Vehicle Rescue Operations Course Flyer
16-Hour Course
Course Date(s) & Times:
- Tuesday, April 25th – 6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.
- Sunday, April 30th – 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
- Tuesday, May 7th – 6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.
Course Description: This course will provide an operations-level of information and skills as it pertains to vehicle rescue incidents. Topics will include: incident management; tools/equipment; vehicle anatomy/design; hazard control, patient access, care and packaging; disentanglement; extrication and termination. Upon completion of the course, the student will be eligible to complete the PA Joint Rescue Program Basic Vehicle Rescue examination. Additionally, this course will prepare the student to challenge the IFSAC/Pro-Board national certification as a vehicle Rescue Technician Level 1 in accordance with NFPA 1006.
Target Audience: The target audience for the course will encompass primarily first responders whom may be faced with the task of vehicle rescue.

Note: This class is FREE for all Northampton County responders. For out-of-county responders, a fee may apply and will be determined by the number of students enrolled.
