40-Hour Course
Course Date(s) & Times:
- Thursday, September 7th – 6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.
- Sunday, September 10th – 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
- Thursday, September 14th – 6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.
- Sunday, September 17th – 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
- Thursday, September 21st – 6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.
- Sunday, September 24th – 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
- Thursday, September 28th – 6:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.
Course Description: This entry level course is designed to introduce new firefighters to fire ground operation including Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), fire dynamics, fire extinguishers, forcible entry, ladders, and fire streams/hoseline advancement. This is the third of four levels (courses) in the curriculum.
Target Audience: The target audience for the course will encompass primarily first responders whom may be faced with the task of fire suppression.

Note: This class is FREE for all Northampton County responders. For out-of-county responders, a fee may apply and will be determined by the number of students enrolled.
