2-Day Course

Course Date(s) & Times:

  • Saturday, April 15th – 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 16th – 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Course Description: ICS-400 provides training and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System(ICS). This course expands upon information covered in the ICS-100 through ICS-300 courses which are some of the prerequisites for ICS-400.

Target Audience: The target audience for the course will encompass primarily the following professional groups: Local Emergency Managers (i.e., county, municipal or other jurisdiction); State Emergency Management Personnel, Voluntary Agency Representatives, private sector emergency managers including those persons who will serve as command or general staff in an ICS organization.

Course Prerequisites (Mandatory): IS-100/ICS-100, Introduction to the Incident Command System, ICS-100; IS-200, Incident Command System for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents; IS-300, Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incident; IS-700, National Incident Management System, An Introduction; and IS-800, National Response Framework, An Introduction
