What is the CodeRED notification system?

CodeRED is a FREE emergency notification service provided by the Northeast Task Force to all residents, employees or visitors within Northampton County. The CodeRED notification system (when utilized) may notify you of emergency information through phone calls, text messages, emails, social media and the CodeRED Mobile Alert app – registered user will select how they receive the notifications.

How is the system used, what notifications are sent via CodeRED?

The system would be used to keep you and other registered users informed of local events that may immediately affect their safety, such as evacuations or a shelter-in-place order.

How can I register for the CodeRED notification system?

You have two easy ways to register for CodeRED, they are:

            • Text “NCEM” to 99411 to enroll in Northampton County’s emergency alert program or,
            • Go to CodeRED website link and register.
