Firefighter I Skills Enhancement (FFCP)

COURSE IS A 32-HOUR TRAINING COURSE. Schedule is as follows:

• Wednesday, May 6, 2026 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m

• Saturday, May 9, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

• Wednesday, May 13, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

• Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

• Saturday, May 23, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to refresh and reinforce the basic knowledge and skills required by any firefighter who wishes to work efficiently, effectively and safely as part of a team on the fireground.

MANDATORY PREREQUISITES:

• MELIF or EBM or FFF or a combination of three (3) of the following 16-hour courses:

  • Respiratory Protection (REPR / REPX)

  • Engine Company Operations (ECOP)

  • Truck Company Operations (TRCO / ATRC)

  • Structural Burn Session (SBS)

  • Ventilation Practices (TRVP)

  • Structural Burn Session (SFR)

RECOMMENDED PREREQUISITES: None listed.

CLASS LOCATION(S): Course will be held at the Northampton County Fire School (NCFS) located at 6 Nagys Hill Road, Bangor, PA 18013. (NCFS DIRECTIONS)
