COURSE IS A 16-HOUR TRAINING COURSE. Schedule is as follows:

  • Monday, May 11, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

  • Monday, May 18, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.

  • Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.


COURSE DESCRIPTION: Truck companies, regardless of whether they arrive on an aerial device, squad, or engine, are the ‘combat engineers’ of fire attack operations. This course, for experienced firefighters, will introduce the student to the basic concept of truck company operations and duties, including organizing the delivery of truck company services, selection and use of key tools, advanced ventilation and forcible entry theory and practices, search and rescue, and other fire attack support functions.


MANDATORY PREREQUISITES: Participants MUST have successfully completed the following courses at course start:

  • Essentials Basic Module, Exterior Firefighter or Firefighter 1 Certification


RECOMMENDED PREREQUISITES: None listed.


CLASS LOCATION(S): Course will be held at the Liberty Volunteer Fire Company located at 67 N. 8th Street, Bangor, PA 18013. (DIRECTIONS)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: This course is FREE to all Northampton County Responders. For out-of-county responders, a fee MAY apply and will be determined by the number of students enrolled.
